Cohesion

Social Cohesion refers to the strength of relationships and sense of solidarity among members of a community. In business terms, we refer to it as Social Capital which we gain from Social Networking wherein we develop interconnected webs or networks. Social Capital generally references a positive product or result of human interactions, so we can assume that those with high social capital bring along high value to their networks.

Social Cohesion helps build Social Capital and is mutually beneficial to the individual, the team, the organization and those in the broader context.

Social Cohesion has been linked with better health and health behaviors.
